So I finally ran out of the large stash of CLP I have been hoarding. I have had it for years. I went on Amazon and they show a white label Break Free CLP line of products.
Is this the same as the older black cans of Break Free?

No clue. I have started using Breakthrough solvent and just got a bottle of the Lucas Oil gun oil. Taking an AR course this Sunday. I'll see how it all works then.

I'm pretty sure it is. I've been using the stuff for over 30 years and LOVE it. I'm also at the end of a can and need more.

Depends if it was owned by Sarfariland or Armor Holdings. AH bought BF in 2000. There have been some formula changes along the way, one with the teflon. It had to be shaken well because the teflon went to the bottom IIRC.

I bought some Safariland CLP fairly recently. Bottle had 2019 on it somewhere. I’d like to think it’s still being made. I always try to remember to keep it shaken well since way back.

I’m still on a black can myself. I had to buy a small bottle which I believe was white labeled while on vacation last year at the beach to break down and clean after my CCW started rusting in spots after an ocean boat ride where it got wet.
