So I was cleaning my ar for the first time. I cleaned it thoroughly and after I was complete,I noticed this tiny screw on my table. It's an Allen screw but im not positive it came from my AR. The table already had some stuff on it so its possible it came from something else. can anyone tell me if this is from an AR?

Definitely not a guitar part. I have a cat that likes to pick up random things and leave them places. Could have been from him. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something. Thanks for the answers.

One of those trigger adjustment screws that threads in under the grip??? Or... do you have a Wilson adjustable gas block???

Or... has anyone ever told you the believe you have a screw loose???

Looks like the screw that holds the elevation wheel to the index scale on an M16A2 rear sight. The elevation knob is a two part assembly.

That looks just like what I have. I have been having sight in issues. I have my rear sight as far left as it will go and it's shooting 3-4 inches right t 25 yards. I wonder if that loose screw is what is causing my issue.

    Thanks for helping.
