On Sig site, find conversions. The 22lr conversion for 1911 and Sig 226 (etc.) is $179.99

I have both, and like them very much. Funny to pick up the 226 with one installed, very light. The 1911 frame version locks back on last shot, the 226 does not.

Sig P226 .22 kit is sold out with no way to get that price on the web site. However, for $320 you can still get the threaded barrel .22 conversion.

There should be a formal rule against using the word "today" in thread titles

Don't you get it that the title stays forever ?

tkd4life: Look at the Nelson Custom conversion. They make a threaded barrel version.

IMO the Nelson is the top of the heap for 1911 .22 uppers. bob

I've looked at their stuff but it just seems like they are a little too proud of their work for my budget. I think I'll just send my Kimber out to ADCO for a barrel extension.

Where did you get a threaded barrel version? I'm not having any luck finding one. I'm looking to turn my 1911 into a rimfire suppressor host.

I got it right from Sig on their website last year or the year before. Way too much fun! A guy from the club brought his 22 suppressor last month. Man that is awesome!
