I want to make one. You guys think it would be a good project? I take my inspiration from the videogame Metro 2033.

If any of you are interested the game is based on the book of the same name. It takes place in post-apocalyptic Moscow within the Metro system. Lots of AK action and the main currency in the game is military-grade 5.45x39. I suggest you guys read the book or; have your kids play the game if you're too old and you can watch. :D

But yea I want to make a windowed mag. :D

    Anyone else dig the look?

What sort of materials were you thinking of?

I was going to buy one of those magazine repair kits, having trouble finding one in brown. I'll try to find some sort of scrap transparent plastic laying around the house. Then bond the two somehow, it has to look neat.

I know some people have given non-windowed PMAGs windows by cutting out the slot, placing a backing inside the mag well, and then using a clear-drying apoxy to make windows. Not sure if it would work with metal, or a window that large though.
