Is HB 9 even remotely being taken seriously ? Im watching the live feed and while everyone who has come up to speak about it is being factual and on point i wonder if it is falling on deaf ears.

edit it seems the mood changed when the state trooper came to speak and he didn't have answers...

SB173 - Get the criminals (future voters) out early because of firearm offense.

SB162 - Punish the legal gun owners because they pay taxes.

They need to make SB200 - Move and Ticket:
Any applicant that has a home in Maryland and his/her main residence will have the option of selling their home at current market value to the State of Maryland. After the purchase is comple The State of Maryland will provide air fare (not exceeding $2000) and a moving voucher (not to exceed $5000) and a stipend (not to exceed $1500) for relocation expenses to a state of their choice.
Furthermore, if the resident continues to work in Maryland but moved to any of the adjoining states they will receive an additional 10% towards their relocation expense.

SB174... Isn't a crime of violence already illegal? Using an antique firearm will make it MORE illegal???

Reading these makes my head actually hurt :sad20:

Rumors are circulating that Obama will soon introduce a new Gun Control bill, it will pobably be celebrated as the answer to events like Tuscon, and may be called Gifford's Gun Control bill.

Gabby Giffords could be wheeled out to introduce the bill, and sign the law. It will be quite a tear jerking moment, and the people and the press will eat it up with a spoon.

Surely a recipe to damage himself further in states he needs to carry in 2012. Not sure what the upside is for him when he knows nothing will make it out of the House, or even the Senate for that matter. Stupid.
