Well, it sounds like you guys had fun. I sure wish I could have made it. Hopefully next time, and maybe we should consider a Saturday shoot instead of Sunday if enough people are up for it.

Wow what a great shoot. Except for the fact that the gremlins got into my FAL and kept F---ing it up. And also that fact that it took me an hour and a half to get down there and 4 freaking hrs to get back.

Everyone had lots on great toys I have started my new shopping list

Thanks for the great day everyone.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who donated for the door prizes.

    DelMarVa Rally Point After Action

Dang, you boys with your fancy internet phones beat me to the punch.

The "official" after action report is located here. Please go over and post your thoughts, observations, etc.

We all owe Jamie a big thanks for his vision in establishing these shoots as more than just a bunch of guys getting together and shooting.

I'll get some more here after I get caught up on a few things.

You can view a range report by member RobMoore who couldn't be with us but wanted to share his experience with his new AK if you want to see an example.

Hey, I see my friend Lewis took the rifle competition! Originally I invited him, but when I had to bail out he still went. Maybe we can get him to join in on the board here.

    OK, ok, ok.......note to self:

From now on, if we do a shoot between Memorial Day and Labor Day it will NOT be on a Sunday.

OK.....the blackpowder pistol has got its first cleaning.

I posted a lot of this over at TRP and hope everyone will go over there with the after action thoughts and especially your range reports.

However, I just want to say that despite the horrendous traffic coming back, this was by far the best DelMarVa Rally Point shoot to date.

This and the Langhorne shoot in PA are models for how these things should go and a big thanks goes to everyone who came and to Big Brad's Gun Shop, JeepDriver and Continental Arms, Spot77 and slayr15 for their help with prizes today.

    #1 Traffic sucks
    #2 See above
#3 30-06 disappears very quickly threw a garand
#4 Lots of great people at this shoot.
    #5 I had a great time
#6 Sunday + Bay Bridge + plus everyone and their mother = not gonna happen to me again :)
#7 I would like to give a big shout out to anyone who helped plan this event. Also to the folks at the range for the great food and hospitality. Next time someone remind me to get a note to excuse me from dinner.

I can't wait to see more of Brad's photos!

You guys are all, without a doubt the COOLEST bunch of m'er f'ers to hang out with.

I smiled all day long, even through the grueling traffic home.
