Would have been a good deal for anyone looking for an inexpensive way to obtain minimal fire and security, but there is something just wrong about storing 68 firearms in a safe that costs less than just one or two of them. A dozen firearms and a bunch of gear and ammo, maybe, but if I have 68 firearms in my collection I might be looking for something offering a little more protection.

By 64 gun they mean 1/4 of that probably.

    You know, it really depends.

I currently have 11 long guns and two hand guns in my 10 gun safe.

I have a mix of ARs, AKs VZs, and some 22s.

Am I happy when I need a gun "in the middle". No. But I am happy that my safe fit in the space I had. My wife would KILL ME if I got a safe like that. Because she would expect me to fill it up.

Dang, you're good. Almost every safe I've seen has 1/2 or less the amount of long gun notches as compared to its stated "capacity"
I have a "14gun" safe with 8 spaces for long gun. There are six shelves though so I guess that's where the other 6 go :D

I got one today for $699 - still a good deal I think. there are a few stores that still have them for this price. Gaithersburg has 2. maybe price match?
