Liberty Tree - District 42

During the 4/13 Liberty Tree gathering in Annapolis, it was suggested we begin organizing locally with FTF meetings to plan and act together for the 2014 election cycle. We have a major target in this district, Senator James Brochin, and at least one delegate that needs the boot, Stephen Lafferty.

If you are interested in working on a strategy to make central Baltimore County a small bastion of freedom in the PRM, please PM me and subscribe to this thread. Once we have enough interest, we can set up a time and place for secure conversation.

Count me in. There's a gun show at the fairgrounds in couple weeks, maybe a good time to have a gathering or do some voter registration at the door. Maybe get some flyers or pamphlets together to get info out and promote our cause. I was thinking of getting some magnets made to remind folks who voted for what.

Magnets are a great idea.

What date is the Fairgrounds show? Assuming you mean Timonium?

That show is like being packed in a sardine can.

I'm sure this one will be even tighter.

Hope they regulate entry this time.

I'm in. Now a DINO and got my first letter ever from Lafferty braying about the various bills he is proud of this session. He and Brochin must rotate out.

I'm a little closer to the city, in Parkville. All of my delegates were against the bill and for all the right amendments so I don't have any delegates to pick on. I'd be more than willing to help oust the two in district 42.

Glad to have any and all help! Count yourself lucky to have decent folks in District 8. Be sure to check in with them to see what you can do to make sure they remain in office. Any energy after that is taken care of is welcome in District 42.

My 2,000 White, Black, and Orange "VOTE BROCHIN OUT IN 2014" business cards will be arriving next week.

The top of the card has a very famous quote from da prez.

Detailed instructions on how to vote in the 2014 primaries.

Not "MAGNETS" like some high-rollers have, but the'll work.

While Brochin and Lafferty both voted against the gas tax, they both supported the "Rain Tax," with Lafferty as a sponsor:

Apparently you haven't been to the gun show held in the Annapolis Armory. That's what I call packed!!!!

Already have some plans for Duffy's re: Voter registration drive. Be nice to see the folks there even more involved. I will stop by Monday after work and check in with them. Do you know off hand if any of the staff there are on MDS?

Your energy and enthusiasm are always welcome. No worries if you can't make it as I see this meeting as a laying of the foundations for future plans rather than the launch of any immediate and momentous actions. I could be wrong, though.
