I got a sweet Crossbreed holster for Christmas and I love it. Super comfortable but my department store belt isn't quite up to the task.

I'm looking to get some ideas for a good 1.5 inch leather holster belt. Preferably American made.

Amazon orders work for me but buying from a local gun shop is better if possible. So what's some good recommendations?

    Thanks Fellers.

I have 3 Beltman belts in different colors. All great quality. I use them even when not carrying. They look pretty dressy if you need that.

The Comptac Minotaur has kydex stitched between two layers of high quality leather. Its really stiff at first but wears like iron. I recently got another belt from Wright Leather Works. Solid leather but the thickest I have ever seen. Very comfortable. Both can be dressed up or down depending on your attire.

My vote is for the BELTMAN or Filson.

If you look on EBay, you can find a good used Filson very reasonably. I could use my Filson to tow with.

My BELTMAN took a while to get made but it was perfect and the service was even better. Follow their measurement advice.

Number 2 all day long. The super bio belt is indestructible. Not leather but no one would know the difference especially in black.

Based on the previous thread, I bought a belt from The Beltman.

I am VERY happy with the belt.

AWESOME FOLKS! That's the type of well informed crowd sourced information I've come to know and love about this forum!

Thanks for all the awesome company ideas. I'm sure I'll be making a choice from at least one of them.

It was asked earlier. I'm a 38 inch waist at the moment but I'm trying to get back to a 36.
