Nothing wrong with psa uppers imho. They take forever to ship but typically the deals make it well worth the wait.

I am planning on getting me an couple uppers from PSA for my Pre SB281 lowers aswell. I knew I wasn't going to be able to build them back then because I didn't have the money but I knew down the road I would! Bought 5 lowers and completed just one, my other 4 Need some attention lol

A few weeks ago they had that upper for 360 I believe but it was the PTAC one.

On another note I wonder how those PTAC uppers perform? For 200 bucks I might give one a try.

I have not seen one of the PTAC uppers, but everything I have has prevented me from buying one of them.

Lol for 2 hundred bucks and 17 for shipping so 217 shipped it's worth a try for me exspecially when I have 4 lowers from years ago just sitting around. I've seen videos on YouTube of guys who have purchased them and did shooting reviews. Without really trying and iron sights the consistant group range was 4 inch groups. So I don't think there too bad. I am going to give one a shot and order it today. I will report back on my experiences with it.

I have a extra BCG and CH. But the buck won't stop with this cheap upper, I plan to build all the rest of the lowers with PSA uppers so at the end of the day I'd be done bought 4 uppers from PSA. Can't beat there prices on so many quality uppers. Also DSArms.com has some quality at good prices which is where the upper on my rifle now comes from.

I was under the impression PSA refused to do business with MD customer post 10/1/13. Is this not the case?

I got a Ruger 10/22 from them not long back.

I think that some folks, depending on their Maryland zip code, might have run into problems getting ammo from them.

There were also attempts to get PSA to send lower receivers and VZ5008s to MD, but largely in vain if I remember correctly.

Not true. But Cheaper than Dirt will not ship any firearms to MD - not even 22 rifle to an FFL.

They wouldnt sell me a vz2008 a month or two back.

I will say this; PSA states the won't sell ammo to Montgomery county - yet - I ordered 45 ACP ammo from them (without knowing) and they still shipped it.
