I noticed while driving by the other night that the lights were on and the walls empty. Then earlier this week a for sale sign went up in front of the lot. I can only assume that means he is done. It was a quirky little shop, but I liked it well enough.

That's both of the shops convenient to me: Just Guns AND Christian Soldier

We live in some very sad times here in MD. By the time the lawsuits work their way through the system, there will be half the shops there were before.

Come on Gun Shop, you're all I have left, hang in there!

Like I said, quirky (though not to QUITE those extremes). I drive by on my way home from work, so if I saw his truck parked out front I'd stop in from time to time. If you need something NOW, it wasn't the best place to go for sure. Still, it is a sign of the gun dealers slowly dying, the weakest die first.

Yea, the odd hours were because the owner works full time for the fire department.
I bought several guns from him and I'm sorry he has gone out of business.

Maryland gun laws working as intended.

Is that an 813 with an LDS in your avatar?

Could be an M35, but the hood looks pretty long.

I was about to mention it's parked out in front of his shop and to go take a looksee, until I realized you're out west.:o

That guy was a bit of a dingbat, but he was still better than his friends down the street.

That sucks. Rob was a little quirky but he was a decent guy to work with. Guess his bound book with all my purchases will soon be released "into the wild". :sad20:

I never liked Just Guns or Valley Gun before that, but the lack of shops in B-more city is really depressing. As mentioned, this is exactly what the antis are angling for. Less shops, less owners, less culture to push back against the next round of legislation.

I've bought there and friends have bought there. We could always find things in stock that other people were out of. Mostly because no one could get there when he was open!

Can't say I'll miss it but it's bad to see another shop go under.

Rob had odd hours due to his full time job with the Fire Department. We went to High School together. He's a good guy, sorry to see him close up.
