Making dealers who are actually the victims of crime, into criminals due to the 24 hour reporting. :mad54:

PA town and cities tried this with ordinary folk, it did not end well.

No purchase permit/FOID for you, being on a terror watchlist!?!? UFB!!!!

The article mentions Christie wants to run for president 2016. Is he going to run as a Democrat?

Liberals don't care about facts or history. So what if it didn't work before?

Makes me wonder what exactly Christie meant when to change justifiable need simply to "self defense" requires an act of the legislature. Seems as if they can make more restrictions via the admin code they can certainly make NJ shall-issue.

I do not want this guy anywhere near Washington, D.C.

BTW there are other changes they want to implement:

Slightly tighten up the AWB for semi auto shot guns
Allow towns to add extra forms and other requirements - some were requiring photographs, sworn statements, letters from spouse/housemates, notarization of forms, etc. Paterson and Jersey City were successfuly sued for this and ANJRPC planned to take it statewide to crack down on this illegal practice. Now they want to make it legal!

Christie is the epitome of RINO.

I also seriously suspect he has some emotional issues. My suspiscions were confirmed when I saw him trying muscle his way into a man hug to dry hump Jerry Jones.

Let em'. You know some of these towns will come up with some stuff to basically make it impossible to get any FOIDs or PP. They could be ground zero for a new round of lawsuits.

I will rephrase that and say he has no support among conservatives. I voted for Romney because my alternative was to vote for Obama. I don't know what I would do if it was Christie vs H. Clinton.

Well IF you are speaking as a Maryland voter, Hillary would capture Md's Electoral Votes in a landslide anyway, so you could safely vote for ( Libertarian or other third party of your choice) if you would recieve some personal satisfaction in doing so.

The larger question would be weather or not to donate or otherwise lend support to the Christie camphain for use in other states where the results would be actually in play.

I would sit it out. I would do so safe in the knowledge that MD is not in play anyway so I lose nothing.

By that time I may not be in MD however..

In the end I will be getting more involved at the grass roots level inorder to shift the R party to sanity.. either in MD or elsewhere..

But I am willing to destroy the contry to save it, and the R party had better belive it

Perhaps others will do so as well.

I'm in Atlantic City NJ for the month, selected as a subject matter expert on the primary air traffic system for a pending software release. I'm amongst the best peer group for geeks in the country for my line of work. After 8 days here doing this testing, I'm heaving heavily pressed to join the team here.

2 NFA items, my 15 round M & P .40, my LWRC M6 with 30 Rd magazines, etc would be an issue. Too bad...

Who would have thought that NJ even HAD 377 FFLs.

You guys really have the wrong impression of this state. Just because we have a communist government doesn't mean the citizens are. I can count at least 5 gun shops around here. We have one on a highway with a big sign that says "GUNS" on it. On another one they have a big banner that says "FFL services and AMMO"

We aren't Florida but we like guns here.
