    I'm assuming he is referring to the Air Force. I was in the af for three years before I joined the army and I was security forces. We always said air cops...

    Then the answer is no regardless has to be a min of 10 years

    That's not completely correct. 18USC926c(3) says:

    (A) before such separation, served as a law enforcement officer for an aggregate of 10 years or more; or

    (B) separated from service with such agency, after completing any applicable probationary period of such service, due to a service-connected disability, as determined by such agency;

    In the current situation are all of the Security Forces equal , or are there specific individuals designated as Law Enforcement Agents (1980s terminology, may have changed) .

    Yes. Everyone is Security Forces now. If you were a Security Specialist back in days of old you are still good to go. AP, SP, LE or today's Security Forces are all good. Leosaonline.com has all the info you need.

    Meaning medical separation under 10 years of service that person will qualify.
    I.e... recruit completed FTO training and started working alone. 1 month after set free he gets injured at work and has to medically retire, he will qualify for LEOSA.
