    Uh, NO! You pick one up at a time from wherever you can. There's no loss from doing that. We're not trying to prove that we are not extremists, we're trying to win an election and that takes every vote we can get.

    This. The concept of standing for principle even if it results in a negative outcome for you is noble...when it impacts you, and you alone, or if it is a group decision with no other alternative. In this case, it is incredibly selfish.

    The bigger picture for this election does not involve gun rights, it's that simple. The primary battleground involves the decaying economy, and the fact that one candidate was directly responsible for that decay and the other claims he will do all in his power to reverse it; the fact that the second candidate, Hogan, supports gun rights is simply an added bonus.

    Voting for someone whom you know is not going to win, when there is a MORE than viable alternative is ignorance .
