So how about those new-fangled BP revolvers? Hopefully MD regulates them, for the children of course. Then again, just ban them outright because nipples are involved.

Something other than AR and bolt guns??????

I'm kinda looking for another lever gun.

Older Winchester or older Marlin (pre-Remlin/Marlington).

Not interested in .30-30. Possibly .38/.357 magnum or another .44 magnum.

    Thoughts on either/both.........

How's that for not being AR or bolt gun?!?!?!?!

This really should be left alone, if you are not familiar with this little bit of drama then:

A man had a very large amount of butt hurt, and that webpage is his lasting memorial to the fact.

Here is my list of non-HBARs that I'm interested in these days (but have no room in the safe for):

NiteScout SBR: I want to build an SBR out of one of the NiteScout A2 guns, but I don't think it would meet OAL. An A3 gun probably would make it. I love how these things take unmodified Uzi mags - I only wish they were roller-locked instead of direct-blowback.

PTR-32 GenII PDW SBR: I really like my pre-ban PTR-91, and would love to do an 8.5" PTR-32 SBR based off the PDW guns. Alas, won't be seeing these until 2015.

SU-16D9 SBR: I've finally found a place that tries to stock these consistently. Just meets OAL requirements, and it's the lightest rifle I know of in 5.56x45. Probably would be pretty sweet with a Ferfrans CRD setup.

AR-308 (G3 mags): Anubis Arms seems to be making upper/lower sets for ~$575. These were not the king of reliability when CMMG was selling them, but I like reusing magazines. Probably would go with a 16" barrel and make it a carbine.

AR-308 (FAL mags): I'd be thinking an RRA LAR-8 for this. Not sure what barrel length I'd go for - tempted to make this one a distance rifle with the RRA advanced half-quad rail.

Beretta ARX-100: I really want a Beretta ARX-100, but I also want Beretta to tweak the magwell so it's a little more compatible with different magazines (namely M3 pmags). I am reasonably satisfied that they've got the top rail wiggle fixed. Also wouldn't mind seeing a version with the original Italian military sights.

Black Aces Tactical pump shotgun: it's a $500 Mossberg 500 that takes Saiga magazines. That's pretty awesome for people like me, who are already invested in the Saiga platform. I don't love the safety position, but that's life with Mossies.

Mossberg Thunder Ranch HS12: I have a weird desire for a short double barrel O/U pump gun, and this gun is the one I lust for. I don't know why.

Mossberg 464 SPX 22lr: I saw it, and secretly fell in love. TACTICAL LEVER ACTION. It would be my not-so-secret middle finger to the cowboy crowd.

Let's talk about these VEPR 7.62x39 that I here are for sale in MD.

    1) Do these take standard AK mags - I think the answer is no, but wanted to confirm.
    2) Are they in pistol grip configuration ? Or just thumb hole stock ? If thumb hole, can that be changed ?

Is anyone selling those in MD? I heard there was an issue with Beretta not sending them to MD FFL's because they don't have 10 round mags. You would think they could jsut take the mag out of the box and ship it, but what do I know...

Engage is selling them for $1675. They seem to get them in frequently - Beretta knows how to make a lot of guns, even if they don't know how to market them. (Beretta couldn't market free sex.)

Well some kind person wrecked my truck while it was parked on the street a few weeks ago and I've been truck shopping. We can talk about how unreasonably expensive trucks are :innocent0

Yep. I have been in the market for an F-250 for awhile and it's probably better to purchase one new versus what the used ones are going for.

I've had that argument so many times over the last few weeks. While I'd like a shiny new one there is absolutely no way I can afford one so I will buy someone else's depreciation
