Why do you say that? (seriously) I'm making an AR upper (for a happy switch lower) and read about folks running 3-4" barrels all the time. A blowback action should be able to run on darn near any length if you tune the bolt/buffer mass. Hi-point got it to work in a 3.5" :lol2:

But... I haven't run one yet, so what is the 'gotcha'?

I didn't realize X-products is making a 9mm drum now! Went to their site and they said they are working on MP5 and MPX versions too. Interesting...

Sorry guys... I don't know I see it with these drums. I am far from cheap but man, $225 for a 50rd drum... UZI stick mags are 32rd for $15. At least with a Beta I am getting 100rds. Surefire 60rd AR mags are still half the price and are at least double standard capacity. I just don't know I see the value in these guys.

Thanks! I'm chomping at the bit to shoot it, but I need the suppressor to clear first.

I think I'm going to trade the stock for a magpul ctr because it is slimmer.

Couple new things. 11in SBR and form 1 10in supressor. Supressor is experimentally wrapped in exhaust wrap in an effort to keep the heat waves to a minumum.

It's a Vortex Viper PST. Took it out today. Here's 5 shots at 50 off a pillow with 125gr team never quit I picked up at Cabelas. That one was me screwing up. Totally lost focus.
