It's my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) that you can now get a permit to carry in DC, with G&S.

I have a MD permit. And it sucks that anytime I have a job in DC, I have to go home and disarm before I can go do the job. So if I can (and it's not cost/"hoops" prohibitive) I'd like to get one.

Can someone enlighten me or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

If you are on facebook, checout the group 'DC Carry.' Seems that they have a few people who are all going through the initial cluster****. From what I can gather, expect several appointments during business hours. They are going to make this hard.,..

"...and training on District of Columbia law on firearms and self-defense."

Where does one receive this part of the training requirement?

I'm going to hold off until I take my renewal training for my MD permit. (Which I'm planning of doing pretty soon.) But I want to start getting all of my ducks in a row.

    Thanks for the link!

I think a couple of MDS members are trying to get DC certification as instructors.

Getting the run around and slow roll as usual.

Emily Miller has a series of reports starting Monday, "Emily Gets her Conceal Carry" should be good

It was very funny. The moron working at DC Police HQ told Emily the 2A only applied "when the British were coming."

    How sad is that?
