    There is no such thing as an SKS DMR...

    I think the ATF would be interested in the fact that you made a new firearm without the proper paperwork, being submitted to them. ;)

    well from my limited knowledge i always thought a designated marksmen rifle was anything between 200-400m being as the 7.62x39 i'd pray and spray to make it 400m at least i have a solid scope mount that will always hold 0 to the teeth :)

    Instead of being able to hit the broad side of an aircraft carrier at 50 yards, you'll be able to hit the broad side of a destroyer at 50 yards. ;)

    FWIW, I have a Chinese SKS from 1965 and I haven't fired it, and I'm not sure if I ever will. When I bought it in 2008, it still had the owners manual ziptied to the trigger guard.
