Here's the mount I use. adds left right swivel function. No allen key or any other tool needed. Just push the release button. rock solid for me.

Look into the rules if its allowed and I know its more than you want to spend but if you can get a Giessel SSE on sale for 200 it is the sweetest trigger ive ever used. I run one in my noveskee ish spr. By far my favorite part of the weapon.

harris bipod with the swivel has been my go to and I dont have any complaints.

:party29:Without a doubt Accu-Shot.com. The best bipod I've seen and used. Clean, well made and easy to use.

Decided on a Harris that mounts on a sling pin because I would be able to use the bipod on my target rifle with a sling pin on the bottom rail.

Confused on which Harris's mount that way

OK, figured out the mounts ...

    I rarely use a 30 round mag ... suggestions on the 6"- 9" legs vs the 9" - 13" legs??

If you're just going to shoot from the bench, the 6-9" works for me. If you're gonna be outside and not always at the bench, the longer one would be my choice.

if you aren't going to be in brush or grass, 6-9 would work IMO. I use the Harris swivel model with notched legs.

works foe me and the price is reasonable IMO.
