This is always a hoot. If you've never been to one, it's kind of like a Mountain Man Comic Con. Lots of focus on primitive living (1700s to 1800s)... period costumes and camping... usually lots of sharp things and black powder guns. Many folks sell their wares from their primitive camps or in the public areas... lots of nice hand-crafted knives, hatchets, etc.
The public day (for those who aren't camping out over the week) is Saturday, April 30th. No need to dress up if you aren't into that. Fun day for the little ones... they usually have fencing demonstrations, black powder competitions, cannon shooting, etc.
