    4 years!

    I can't believe it's been four years!

How things have changed! I started this post when I took my oldest to the range - he was 12 at the time. Now he is 16 - will be 17 in May - varsity cross country and track athlete, number 2 in his class, has scored 770 on the math SAT, has scored a 5 on the AP Calculus (and other AP) tests, is starting the process of applying to the Naval Academy, and of course has kept shooting with me - most recently he finished in first place in C-class at Stoney Creek's winter trap league. When he was in middle school he almost drove me nuts... but he has become the son I always dreamed of.

    Holy thread revival Batman!!!!!

I realized it had been about four years - and when I looked it had been four years to the day - and I had one of those father moments when I thought about taking my 12 year old to the range (who is now 16). 12 to 16 - that's when boys become men... and how different he is today from then is unbelievable.

I guess a karma is in order to atone for resurrecting the dead.
