I watched the debate tonight on channel 11 out of Baltimore. It was the most entertaining debate I have ever seen. I live in Harford County and I use the Verizon FIOS network for television and the Internet.

The reason is was so entertaining was because the sound and the picture were out of sync. Talking before the video image. It was funny. I thought this can't be right, so I checked another TV and it was the same.

Great show, watching the candidates apparently talking out of the sides of their mouths. It was great!

After watching/listening to the debates, it is quite obvious that Brown is a puppet/figurehead for some other entity. He was unable to construct a single, cogent thought and merely repeated obviously rehearsed, overly used sound bites that dripped in drama and dread.

God help this state if he is elected. Our move out of Maryland will be expedited.

Brown appears to be using the Obama play book. Tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth. If Brown thinks MD is so happy with life in MD, how does he account for 47% of the state population wanting move out of MD for good? Maybe this debate will resonate with the indies and fence sitters. But I am pessimistic it will sway any Dem voters to plug the holes in the sinking ship by voting Hogan.

They're running it again this morning with the sound in sync with the lips...it is so obvious that Brown's answers are rehearsed and that he has no idea what he is talking about; just like every other politician and talking head who has a scripted mantra to spiel. Anyone who saw this and is considering Brown at the ballot box tells me that they are fine with lying and untruths which makes them liars and untrustworthy...nothing new there!
I dislike liars, cheats and thieves and Brown obviously is in that category.

These debates are the reason why I vote libertarian. It just shows how left a Republican running for office goes to get elected.

Ima go grab my pitchfork now.

Running only to the right for statewide office here is an electoral death sentence

Principle is a great thing. But in MD it won't accomplish a damned thing.

This is where the Buckley Rule comes into clear focus.

Local races? Sure, it may work out west or on the 'shore someplace. But not statewide. Not for the foreseeable future, in any case.

So how many libertarians get elected so that they may actually do something? I would do the same;sends a message but what does it actually accomplish for change?

I am aware that less then 0% get elected. But mostly they closest reflect my beliefs. Principle is a primary consideration when voting. As voters, we have a responsibility to vote for who we feel will best manage our government. That sentiment is lost on both parties.

I thought Hogan was different until the second debate. Now I see how much a turncoat he can be and abandons causes because its politically damaging. Again; principles.

Until we have viable Libertarian candidates we need to vote for whoever has the best chance of winning and aligns closest with our values. Like it or not this race is between 2 people; 1 Dem and 1 Rep.. Any vote NOT for Hogan is a vote FOR Brown, it's just that simple.
