I know a lot of people hated that show, but I enjoyed it for some mindless fun every now and then. Bums me out that he was a kiddie diddler

After that last bunch of posts, I think I threw up a little. For the love of all that is good and holy, can someone explain to me the need to put a rear view mirror on a rifle?? Is that so that you can see the ninja sneaking up on you (rather than shooting you from a distance)... or is it so that you can fix your lipstick after lighting up the first wave of zombies?

"Custom camo finish, probably non-professional" :lol2:

surprised they offered this, usually they stick to high-quality originals but I bet it sells for at least $600-700
(their "blue blanket" is almost as effective as the Grey Blanket).
DGFM copy which isn't all that common - nor valuable really.
    But supposedly well made.

lot of other interesting stuff on their list this cycle though.

Hungarian marks on a 91/30? My head hurts
    The "02" on the butt-plate?

In fairness (and I hate to say this), the original finish on these doesn't look a lot better. It is like a thick flat-black paint. Not pretty, but very utilitarian for a military finish (which is what it was intended to be). The DGFM (licensed) copies are actually very good guns, though. They may not be shiny and beautiful, but neither is the AK-47 ... and nobody will dispute that it's an amazing piece.

I sure hope that the thing doesn't bring $600. It's an abortion. It looks like some kid got tired of painting camo on plastic model tanks and took this on.

I thought the DGFM's were blued originally and the paint was from the importer, but I've not seen one in person. Regardless, don't be surprised to see it go for more than we think it should ;-) Half-tempted to bid low just to put it out of it's (and our) misery.

Here's mine - N.I.B. It looks blued in the photo, but it's more of a coating. (Original grips are still with it, but first owner bought these for it.)

Here is my M1 Carbine with an NCStar 2-7x32 pistol scope mounted on a Amega Scout Mount. When you get old and your eyes go bad on you, here's a way to go.
