following yesterdays mass shooting and the comments made by our socialist president the rhetoric is completely out of line as far as race in this nation and when it comes to gun laws etc.... “And at some point it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it, and for us to be able to shift how we think about the issue of gun violence collectively.” i think the months to come will once jeopardize our lively hood and liberties brace yourself for universal backgrounds checks and for those who live in free states to be impacted with a Assault Weapons Ban.

I really don't think so. He didn't use an "assault weapon". He used a low capacity handgun and by witness accounts had to reload multiple times. The laws they want to press wouldn't have even prevented this anyway.

Well then, the next "logical" step must be to ban semi-auto pistols that take detachable magazines.

we live in a era where they can't decipher a semi auto-matic from a heavy regulated select fire it makes no impact either way it's a "gun" with open boundaries to be acquired without that background check. that must be regulated by their "agenda"

What seems to be happening with these terrible events and the horrific reporting intended to cause the general public to en mass rise up and demand new restrictive legislation is actually having a backlash unintended consequence.

The only demands for legislation are coming from political hacks and their media lapdogs. The unintended consequences are the general public is buying more guns, joining gun clubs, shooting more often and starting to question the whole anti gun propaganda that the gun grabbers know best and the police will protect everyone. The people want protection and are beginning to realize with each home invasion, riot, and every mass shooting that the only real and timely protection is that which they can provide themselves.

I tend to agree with this, I have seen several folks in the media today, call for "arming themselves in church, while not what they want to do, it is what they need to do." (not in so many words)
