I think the store clerk didn't know what he was talking about, you can receive high cap mags outta state and 22 long rifles can be bought on 4473 forms out of state

I was looking at a Walther HK MP5 SD 22lr at Cabelas and the guy said they were a no go in MD. Is that true? I thought all .22lr rifles were exempt?

Bought one last year at a local shop. No wait. C&C. Came with a 10 rnd. mag.
    The thing is sweeeeet!

Unfortunately I( sold mine last year. I loved it, and it had the 10 round mag when I bought it. I was able to pick up a pair of the 22 round mags up in Pa, but on the next one I purchase, I would like to get the 50 round drum also. Reviews are pretty good that it is reliable :-). Yeah, that clerk is incorrect.

Someone makes a Sturmgewehr 44 in .22 cal. It's badass looking but, $700 is a lot to plunk down on a .22. Maybe some day.
