Not for any particular reason, but I decided to pay tribute to active duty and former military with a little bit of token good karma.

The first 10 vet / active duty participants in this group who pm me the following info will be sent one of these:

Correct name of this item (I'll take either of two)
Your branch of service and years of service (honor system)
Your USPS mailing address

The only flaw in that hypothesis is that vets tend to have too much respect for original guns to bubba them up.

Two left ... several people knew the answer, but passed on getting the karma gift. It's surprising how many people still have one of their "originals" still hung on their dog tag chain, or on a key chain, from "back in the day".
