Looking for post apocalyptic books for my gf or alternate history like the nazi taking over the world or something
has anyone read sm stirling the change series?
Also looking for a title of a book it has a man in a gas mask I believe with a gun helmet burning the constitution

Try the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufo I got it on Audible for my blind grandfather and he liked it so much he wanted all 8 books! He is 90 and we set him up with earphones and he was on the edge of his seat listening, we thought he was sick but just really into the damn story. So ... I also listened to the series and it kept my interest, great characters. Tufo has other series she may wind up with, after the Zombie one, that are similar. They all get excellent ratings. Book titled "lights out" forget the authors name, gives a good story about power grid going down and how quickly society falls apart.

Day by Day Armageddon #1 is fantastic. It's a series of three, but be warned they go downhill in quality FAST!

#1 is great, #2 is good, #3 is terrible, but finishes the story.

I like the Day by Day Armagaeddon series by JJ Bourne or something like that. Zombie lit. It's a light read.

Crake and Oryx by Margaret Atwood was good, Infected by Scott Sigler, Contagious by Scott Sigler and Patient Zero by Jonathan Mayberry.

One Second After is set about forty miles from the casa. Some of the names are real folks. Pretty believable and well written for a new author.

If she's up to it, The Road by Cormac McCarthy...kinda dark in places.
