    I don't see this having much appeal beyond the folks who will buy it because it's a surefire - unless it offers a substantial increase in noise reduction over the tops cans out there right now. I can't see myself buying a .22 can with aluminum baffles unless there is some huge benefit aside from weight.

    Ryder = 3.1oz
    Sparrow = 6.5oz

    With something that small in size 3oz probably feels pretty noticeable but I'd still go for the Sparrow for it's stainless steel parts. It's not going to break my arm holding up another 3oz on an already light 15-22 or 10/22.

    Point taken - I didn't realize the weight savings were that great. Like you though, I don't think it will justify the purchase for me.
