1895@ Hampstead Walmart for $589 I think. Had a short magazine tube and pistol grip.
I was looking for a side loader. The Henry is tubular. Thanks though!

45-70 Marlin at Dunkirk Wallys yesterday. It was $560 or $580 (cant remember) on sale.It was very tempting but I passed.

Picked up an 1895 Classic at Walmart in Severn (off I97) on Saturday. Went to buy some socks and dog food. Paid at the sporting goods counter and as I turned to leave the 45-70 caught my eye. I have been wanting one for along time but it never seemed practical. Well this time I said WTH it's Christmas time. The guy at the desk said he almost never gets them in stock but the manager ordered another one as soon as I bought it if anyone's interested. Nice gun. The only part with sharp edges is the hammer but a little emery cloth will fix that. MERRY CHRISTMAS to me !!!
