I have had one of these in my cart at Amazon for 6mos now. Just can't seem to cough up the $100 to try one out.

Maybe if I could try one first.

I looked at one that a friend was trying out on his airsoft gun. It works, but I definitely would not prefer it to a red dot. Also did not get to try shooting with it under pressure, so I have no idea how well that would go, but he liked it.

I got one from www.sotaarms.com for around $75 at the end of January not including shipping. Haven't decided what to mount it on - possibly a future gun as most of my rifles that can take optics already have them.

I have one mounted on my 6.8 strictly as a backup, or something is too close or too fast to get a bead on with the Burris.

I have not zeroed it yet, but I'm pretty impressed with the simplicity, quality and speed of target acquisition. For $80, I'm not complaining. Excuse the blurry pics.

As a scope backup, I like it. The likelihood of my scope going down is pretty low already, something tough and simple seems like the trick.

I'd be more enthused at a $50 price point.

Yes, I would definitely be more inclined to buy one if they were around $50, but still might pick one up.
