    Nice job.

If you were so inclined, RCBS makes a 300BLK "Black Box" die set.

It has a small base resize/de-primer die. Works very well and will eliminate the extra step.

Also, watch your crimp. Just a tad too much will bulge the shoulder and prevent chambering as well. I don't use a crimp at all on my home-growns.

Glad it's working out for you. It is a fun round.

    Reconfig In Progress...

After a couple of "break-in" range outings I decided I did not like the iron sight setup I had on the rifle. Even though the front sight was made for a low profile gas block, lining up the rear and front sight's plane was a big challenge and the rifle was shooting very high.

One thing fun about "Tinker Toy" AR's is playing with "parts. I had a riser and inexpensive scope on hand. My barrel laser sight tells me this setup is dialed in at 50 yards. We'll see next range trip.

    It's always something, isn't it?

Yep, but fortunately for the AR family, there are a ton of options out there and many of us have an answer on hand in the spare parts box somewhere... :lol2:

This is what I use for sizing, no issues with my reloads and I don't crimp either for the 300's on the advice I have seen over and over...

Some other notes to the thread poster. I have been reloading 300 blackout for a while now, and I have found that the Wislon case guage in 300 Blackout will help with the chambering process.
