Makes me wonder how they targeted them too.

Word is, they (deceased) raised one of the grand kids on their own (POS kid of theirs couldn't or wouldn't).

This guy was a either a friend or friend of a friend of the grandchild. Had been around the house before, was even dumb enough to tell the investigators he "had been thinking about this robbery for 10 years".

So, more than likely they answered the door, let him in and it went south.

This neighborhood is SUPER quiet, fairly small and wooded, maybe something like 80 houses total, all on decent sized homes on decent sized lots, all 1960's/1970's built. These pieces of shit had no business at all being up there other than victimize someone.

95% of the home invasions around here are either friends of family, family themselves or people who have bought dope there in the past and know what they are looking for.

I think if you enter someones home and commit a crime (no matter if it's stealing a stick of gum) it should be automatic 10 years in prison no questions asked. It's actually surprising more people aren't killed this way, we're armed to the gills up here, barely lock anything up and can't stand fuggin thieves and dope heads.

    Thanks MOM.

    Thanks Frosh.

I guess death by lethal injection, electrocution, hanging or firing squad is a cruel and unusual death while being asphyxiated by strangers is not.

But then again these lawyers would not make any money from defending them for the fifty-first, or whatever, time.

Agreed. Ironic when we have laws in places like New Jersey where any violation of their firearms laws, be it unlicensed carry or bringing in an unlicensed BB gun, is an automatic 3 year no-parole minimum. Yet there is no mandatory minimum for burglary anywhere I am aware of.

Ding, ding, ding, winner, winner, chicken dinner!

Defendants in jail can't afford to pay (most of them anyway).

    That. :sad20:

Revolving door. Bail bondsmen, public defenders, lawyers, judges, court clerks, methadone clinics, etc., etc., they all need paid and need job security.

That's why the Froshes and O'Smellys of the world hate civilians defending themselves, their families and their property with firearms...it puts too severe a crimp in their supporters' and customers' life expectancy and dead criminals are slightly more problematic to cull votes, PAC donations and legal fees from. (or on behalf of compliments of John Q. Taxpayer, who ultimately pays the Public Defender vouchers)

I know someone who killed a Crack dealer about 8-10 years ago during the commission of illegal activities. Im sure some of you remember, 100 block of Mahogany Drive in Timberbrook. He got 30 years, the judge knowing full well they were both engaging in illegal activity and that is likely the cause of the fight and shooting.

You're telling me you can be involved in the brutal strangulation death of TWO elderly people IN THEIR OWN HOME that results in the theft of multiple firearms and get something LESS than someone who killed a known POS dope dealer?

    Bravo Cecil County.....Bravo.

The judges and lawyers in Cecil are so buddy buddy it's borderline criminal itself. Look no further than Rollins hiring his son the day he's sworn in for a job that he had zero experience in. Sometimes it's better to just put your head in the sand than look around at whats happening.
