In 20 days over a 1200 cards issued?
I don't buy it. number above is more than 1200 from mine.

I noticed that too... I applied 3/8 and am in the 3800s.

It is tax refund season. It's possible people are receiving their refunds and getting the itch to buy that new handgun, causing the increase in HQLs?

Who knows...

I applied for my HQL. I didn't even do my tax yet. Don't need refund to pay for it? Everything but DHMH completed within a few hours.

Mine was approved today and my license number is in the 5200's so thats a ton of issued HQL's in the last week.

Finally got mint today. Went active 26 February. I contacted MSP last week asking them why I haven't yet received it. They replyed that they were sorry and re-issuing it.

And the physical card arrived today. Applied on 3/21, Certified on 3/27, and Carded on 4/1: 11 days.

I must say it's a pretty hokey looking thing. It doesn't really look to have any security features like a driver's license, so it looks like I printed it myself.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'd like some clarification. When filing a training exempt (due to prior ownership) HQL the 'Education' and 'Documents' sections are to be left blank, correct?

I had 3 things that showed incomplete a week after I submitted the app. So I sent an email asking the approx wait time and got a response the next morning and they said 2-3 weeks. Later that day all was complete and active. Was about 4-5 days later I got my card in the mail.

Submitted 4/18 after COB. This morning it was pending with DJS incomplete and DHMH unchecked. now at COB it is Active and the checklist is gone. 1 business day...now the wait for the card begins.

One business day?! I'm on my 3rd business day, and, after seeing that, I'm getting impatient. Also, what is COB?
