    This... I would never put steel cased ammo though my shilen barrel or even my WOA barrels. I've put steel cased ammo though my chrome lined M&P with no problems. Now I can reload for less than $0.25/round with really cheap 55 grain pills so it's a non issue anymore. I don't shoot steel ammo now that I reload.

    Yeah, I get that 100%. Reloading for me just isn't viable, so $0.24/rnd is a big deal for my wallet. And I have a <$300 5.56 upper, so worst case, I just need to do a barrel swap earlier than expected. I can live with that.

    Tulammo sources from a couple different places. I'm not a big fan of Tula .223. Ulynavosk is much better stuff.

    If you can get it, I personally prefer Barnaul lacquer-coated or zinc-coated.
