Shooter grade ones that are mechanically good are $150-250.
Been a long time since I've seen one for less than $300-350, then again I haven't been to a gun show in years since I work weekends.

I found the 36 in the pic I posted on GB for $425 shipped. It looks to be unfired, no turn line at all. Actually all of them in the pic are from GB. Even if isn't listed as C&R in the ad just ask the seller if they'll ship to C&R if it's pre '65.
Some great pics so far guys, keep 'em coming...
Here's a High Standard Sentinel snub, 9 shot 22lr. A nice cheap way to get your C&R fix. Lol. Sorry for the crappy pic.
Not sure if there's a thread for this already? I searched and didn't see one. Share your C&R revolver pics here please.
I'm a Smith and Wesson fan, here's some I picked up with my C&R license:
(L-R) Military & Police Model 1905, 4th change. The next 2 are Pre Model 10's, the nickel one is marked Detroit Police with serial #. Model 36 no dash aka Chief's Special, flat latch. Model 34 no dash kit gun, 22lr also with flat latch.
Colt Commando ,1942. Most came with plastic "Coltwood" grips but some early ones had wood grips. I believe the grips are original due to 4 digit sn. Story on this one is it was a Hagerstown Police Dept issue. I have yet to find documentation on that. Hopefully a letter from Colt shows that to be the case, but I am not holding my breath.
Funny, I just got one of these delivered to me last night. For what it is, it is actually a pretty solid little gun. Was pleasantly surprised. Mine has had a little more use on it than yours, but I bought it as another "walk in the woods" so that's OK... will probably take it out this weekend
For the record this post got my ass in gear and I just bought a model 10 snubby in 98% condition. I added a pic in the revolver porn thread!!!
Slick!!
I wish there were less of the 32s. They are beautiful revolvers I want to buy but don't need another caliber hahaha
Speaking of C&R revolvers, anyone able to ID this cylinder? Found it a little while back in an old cleaning kit that belonged to my great grandfather, it was with some .22 ammo from the early 60's, so I'm guessing this is from the same period or maybe a little earlier. It's six shot, .22 cal, no markings other than a very light '136' electro penciled on one end. It's in perfect condition, don't think it was ever used but unfortunately I think the revolver it went to is long gone.
Ruger Single Six is my guess. Cause I was looking at one tonight.
