Can't shoot it at indoor ranges like Freestate.
Walmart has the 7.62 x 51 on sale 9.99 for 20. I picked up 100rds today. Does anyone have experience with this. The price was just too good to pass up. 50 cpr for brass cased. I have not seen that for a long time.
I picked up a box of the stuff yesterday. Was not magnetic (not that it matters for where I shoot) and seems to be very decent for the price. I've paid more for .45acp
Shot a box this past weekend, smelled like piss after every round, but it worked in my AR fine.
Anyone seen any of the 7.62 in stock at a walmart around baltimore / carroll county?
Dundalk walmart had a bunch of the 7.62. Seems like the pile of zqi ammo never changes in there. Whether it's 5.56 or 7.62
Ah. Magnetic is no good for me. I do a lot of shooting at freestate and they run a magnet over the ammo
To better clarify the 7.62 NATO I bought was not magnetic. According to the ZQI website the 5.56 NATO they are selling is SS109 which has a steel construction in the bullet.

Thanks for that link. I figured, being steel core, this stuff would be 62 gr.
How does 62gr stabilize in a 1:9 barrel?
62gr should stabilize fine...
