Spyderco-Kershaw SpyKer...awesome knife. It's the only knife to date to utilize Spyderco and Kershaw Ken Onion designs to make a single knife. The Mother of Pearl also gives it an interesting look. This one took me a year to find the right one!!! (pictured with some of my other crap)

    Yup, good lightweight folder.

You might also like this, you know how many bushings and bulk hose you have to cut to wear out a rescue, I do. About 5 years EDC back in the shop:D

Very cool, I thought I was the only person on earth that owned one. :D

My rescue is a hand me down from Streetgang. It was my duty and edc knife for years. It REALLY needs a trip back for sharpening.

I had a really really nice machete my dad brought home from Thailand. It started to rust really bad, so I cleaned it, ground down into good metal to get rid of the pitting, sharpened it razor sharp, hit with a heat gun and then oxpho blued it.

I don't know what the alloy is, but it took the bluing beautifully, it has almost a reddish tinge to it, like spring steel gets when you blue it.

Anyways, it looks great now, and hasn't rusted even a tiny bit in the years since bluing.

what are the specs on the blades shown
    leather or kydex sheath
    price ?

    I'll give specs in descending order, going left to right when appropriate;

    1) (POST 308) 5.25" Blade, 1084 Steel, 57-58hrc, mid-taper, 3/16" thick at the ricasso, forge scale flats, hand-rubbed to a satin 600 grit on the bevels, 10" OAL. OD/Forest scales with red liner, G10.

    2) (POST 310) 4.0" Blade, 1084 Steel, 58-59hrc, distal taper, 1/8" thick at the ricasso, forge scale flats, hand-rubbed to a satin 600 grit on the bevels, 8.25" OAL. Red, sculpted G10 scales.

    3) 6.5" Blade, 1095 steel, 57-58hrc, distal taper, 3/16" thick at the ricasso, forge scale flats, hand finish to 1200 grit. 11.75" OAL.

    4) Guardless Rifleman, 9.25" blade, 57-58hrc, 1084steel, distal taper, sharpened swedge, 3/16" at the ricasso, dyed sunflower scales.

    5) Integral Guard Hunter, 4.25" blade of 1084 steel, 3/16 at the ricasso, distal taper, all belly (all cutting surfaces are slightly rounded in profile, makes it a dream to skin with), hand laid (by me) kramcarta scales in OD/Black.

Despite numerous attempts to become an IP on here over the last few months, my requests have been ignored. However, I will respect my current non-IP status by not offering any details related to my business or their sale. In order to buy one, you'll have to know me personally, and have knowledge of my business outside of MDShooters (I will not give my personal info out via PM here, nor will I quote prices or availability here), I will give the technical specs of the pieces I picture upon request. If the mods see to it that I can become an IP, I'd be glad to share all of the above, but not before then.

This isn't a knife but it has blades ;) I picked this little guy up at the Jarrettsville VFW Gun show a month or two ago. It was made by the guy who has all the damascus steel knives.... it set me back $40 but I like it so much I might grab another if he has any at one the his next shows.

I don't know jack all about blades, so this is probably the nicest one I've ever had.

My wife got me a Gerber Instant for Christmas, which replaced my busted old no-name folder for EDC.

I've got some other knives lying around, but most are $5 flea market cheapos not worth mention.

This is an old style Bowie made by a guy up in PA who has a forge. The transition is easy to see on the blade.

The blade is pretty thick and could get some good use hog hunting. I haven't stabbed anything with it yet!
