They sell mags for the M1 Carbine all the time, some at affordable prices. I just picked up 3 15 round Korean mags for $28.00 including shipping.
Good luck.

As far as the dies go, the insides are probably ok. There is a product called Evapo-Rust, sold by Walmart for around $15.00 per gallon. Soak those dies in it for a while and it will eat the rust off. Google it and see.

I'll vote for Hafer's, as Tim is one of the good guys. RWB has been here a while, and I haven't heard any negatives, and
I plan on doing some business with him in the future. I'm not to far away and have built several of my own, and have most of the tools needed. If he wants
to build one...
Hi,
I would be interested in a brick (don't want to be hoggish). My only problem is I just got out of the hospital and would have to have my daughter pick it up. We live in Little Orleans. If you could give me a price, we can work out a date, place, and time.
Thanks.•••••••••••••••••••••...
There are a lot of variables in the equation. Do you have brass currently? Do you have powder, primers? Are you shooting j-words or cast? If cast, are you buying boolits or casting your own? If you already have all the equipment that you need to reload, then your costs will be brass...
For any of those who do not wish to cast, more power to them. That leaves more material available for me.
As far as the different types of lead used, it's all about what you are going to do with it. This is an excellent source of information: http://www.lasc.us/CastBulletNotes.htm

I can't see where using SS media would be any more taxing on brass than reloading hot and shooting often. I've never heard of it anyway in the last few years. Perhaps with questionable quality brass that is only good for a few reloads anyway.

There is a brass exchange program in this forum that may be of interest to you.
If you plan on keeping brass, and do not have tons to start, it's a good idea to start sorting them by headstamp. Some people will only want certain head stamps (and willing to pay a premium), while others don't...
It would never arrive at it's destination. Either the male workers would be absconding with it or the female workers grabbing it for their husbands/boyfriends.

Mr. Hardware in Hancock MD has some. I prefer the Turmans, as they burn better in my stove for some reason. Do a google search for Mr. Hardware Hancock MD and you can get the number. They are open Mon-Sun, closing early on Sat and Sun.
Best guess is a gunsmith. They have ways and tools that we don't. I have to replace mine and the gas block, and I'm not really looking forward to it. (Romanian AK)

Congrats, and welcome to the school of hard knocks. It took me around 6 hours to get my Lee Pro 1000 set up and get familiar and comfortable with the operation. This man has some excellent videos on the entire process. Just paste this url in your google url bar and look for the videos by...
