Simple....dont put all "your eggs in one basket" comes to mind, same can be said with guns, ammo, anything, what if you just can't get to that central spot? Or some one else has beat you to that central spot.? Then you have disasters fire, water, mother nature, etc So here multiple safes... -

You can buy different bullet stems, round nose, SWC, WC, etc. Think Lee even can make custom ones you supply the bullet. Whidden sells em and others Pretty much use MightyArmory seat dies for the 9mm / 45acp... -

I forgot to add that...thank you sir. Yep, treat plated as cast, that's where the Lyman "M" die comes in handy also and a slight ream of the case mouth... Those are just givens here, when cast bullets / plated. A slight ream of the case mouth with "flat base" bullets -Rock -

Plated bullets, may be thinner than normal. Bad batch etc. Seating stem ..check to make sure its clean, make sure no plating from bullets in it. Take the stem out, place it over the loaded round, to see if the marks kinda line up, try a different jacketed bullet,, not plated to see if it still... -

MP5 feeding issue?
Try "HK" mags, it may prevent the issues, as 4g64loser mention also if the ammo is not consistent, you will have issues, loads too light and is the gun in "Spec", the MP5 built here on a HK parts kit (LSC flat) has had none of these issues, now, using HK mags, haven't tried any others so don't... -
