I know I can see all of my posts by going through my user info.
I am asking because it would be convenient to be able to have them listed only one time in order of the latest post so I don't have to go back through several pages to notice activity that I may want to follow up on.
Thanks...

the MSP over the extended wait times.
I thought it would be a PR nightmare and would hurt our cause and people just needed to be patient.
Or have times changed?
Many people are saying they want a ruling from MSP for this or that before they will do something.
When did the MSP get this authority?
Sounds like a police state or at least a police state mentality by a lot of people.:sad20:
I don't believe that frames or receivers are 'weapons' by their lack of being able to expel a projectile....
But for arguments sake let's say they are. They still are not regulated firearms under the 'assault weapons' section since they are only similar in appearance BUT not in internal...
Why was this put in the bill and what exactly does it mean - how is it applied?
Please help me wrap my head around this.
Could one argue that copies by other manufacturers of the specifically listed assault weapons are no longer copies? Or did they put it in there so copies of the specifically...
Please post here or IM me with their name and contact info if you have it?
All responses are welcome. I am in Carroll County so I would prefer someone in Carroll but would also like to know about dealers in Baltimore, Frederick, Howard, or western Harford counties.
Thanks.

...when the state is taking longer than 30 days to complete the 77r?
Are they just having the purchaser fill out the 4473 after the 77r comes back and putting the same certification date in section A and recertification date in section c?
The 4473 states: "For purposes of this form, contacts...
We have all heard and read all the stories that this or that dealer got a letter from the MSP telling them NOT to transfer the firearm until they get the 77r back.
Does anyone have a copy of any of those supposed letters? If so please post any official correspondence.

Yes this post is partially in jest but I think there are some parallels that have merit.
I know this topic has been beat to death regarding what people think so here is a link to what the federal law actually is.
Here is a link to what the Md. laws are. Note: put SUBTITLE 1. REGULATED FIREARMS in the search box in the upper left hand corner. Once you get into one of the sections...

It is all good but this is one of the best:

There is definitely standing since the purchaser pays them a $10 processing fee to complete the background check in 7 days.
Any legal experts have any input or would be willing to take the case? I'm sure most recent purchasers would be willing to let the lawyers have the $10 if they could get...
can I legally transfer the firearm to the prospective purchaser since Md. law says it can be done on the 8th day? There is no need for a NICS # since it is not from a FFL.
Md FFL's may release a firearm after 7days if there is no response from the MSP. Federal law says that the gun can be released after 3 days with or without a NICS #. BUT the FFL has to follow both Md and federal law and Md law requires a 7 day wait.
