      Free dryer

      Great for a hunt camp or cabin, or a spare. Works fine. White, top load. Some surface scratches on the top. You will need a plug cause I used it on the new one. Washer went and wife wanted them to match. Whirlpool. You haul, I can help load, located in South Carroll. Can provide pics if interested.

      Gun ID?

      A friend of mine has this over his fireplace and was asking if I knew what it was. Guess he thought since I hunt I knew everything. Any way he sent some pics and said there weren't many markings he saw. Any ideas from you guys?

      2020 Groundhog

      Did I get the first one posted again? Try to get out for some air on nice days since we are stuck home teleworking and schooling. Had an opportunistic sighting very close to the homestead so ran in, cracked the safe and grabbed the 22 mag. A little stalk and wait....sleepy groundhog now .

      so what is the conventional wisdom on keeping mags loaded for an extended period of time? what is too long? fully loaded or partially so the springs do not set?

      got this today from our daycare provider. there seems to be an organized group of people targeting schools, day cares, and church programs. they are watching for people to leave stuff in their vehicles and breaking in and stealing as much as they can grab. so keep an eye out and don't leave...

      why and who is hoarding 30-30 Win ammo? I've gone into several stores and regularly see .300 win mag, .270, .243, and even 30-06 on a semi regular basis but not a single round of 30-30.
