      Radom P64 in 9mm Makarov?

P64 is a great pistol for a C&R. I personally don't care to shoot more than about half a box thru it at the range and then I am done. I have no Romies but I do have a yugo m57 tok. Also a great pistol. Completely different than the p64. It's single action for starters. You need both. Then buy...

CMP Garands, pictures and Identification information

Thanks Joppa for starting this thread. Here is my SG SA. It arrived today and was provided because the HRA I ordered back in March was back ordered. Thank you CMP! I haven't touched it except for taking some pics but I know you all are dying to see her. I think she will clean up real...

      P64 from Weidner's

I shot mine today for the first time. I think this is a good carry gun. Because if I carried it, I would probably never have to shoot it. It was very accurate for the size but the recoil is SNAPPY. My j frame air weight is more fun to shoot with +p ammo! Maybe not but still..... I also...

      CMP timeline

I mailed my SG HRA order back in the later half of March. It's been pending in the system since mid June. Today CMP called me and said HRA are back ordered, would I take a Springer? I said sure, they charged my card and I am looking forward to the shipping email. Further updates as events...

      P64 from Weidner's

Internet lore seems to favor the theory that a heavy hammer spring was used to ensure ignition on hard primer rounds also used in the SMG. +1 on Wolff. The double action on mine was enough to cause muscle damage. I bought the tuning three pack and I've got the 18# in right now. I haven't...

      K31 from Samco

Look under the barrel up by the bayo mount ( from memory). I think mine is stamped there.

My Classic SKS - What I got in pics..

Anyone care to guess how the parts were mixed? The trigger group and magazine are stamped the same SN as the receiver. The bolt, carrier and cover don't match the matching parts or each other. Also the stock is not marked with an SN.

My Classic SKS - What I got in pics..

Sorry for the confusion. As I have noted there are no factory stamps. I was referring to the 34 stamps on the receiver an barrel lug. They are in the same locations as the 26 and 27 on why2kmax's SKS. I believe mine is a first year (5 digit serial number) so I believe it was made at Jianshe...

My Classic SKS - What I got in pics..

I think I meant 27. Why2kmax mentioned a stamp covered by the stock in his thread. You can see the 34s in my pic. One is on the rceiver and one is on the barrell lug. There were no factory stamps. How was the stock on yours? Mine looks worse than my T53.

My Classic SKS - What I got in pics..

Here it is after a day of sun baking and de-cosmofying! Cosmo is a good friend and did it's job, but I thing we need some time apart. She is a 5 digit serial number and no factory stamp. The bolt, carrier and the thingy plate that covers the recoil spring don't match (my first sks, can you...

      Three boxes of cosmoline

Well I got it today err ... rather yesterday as the kids were not up to the day trip we had planned. No need for the sofa, my wife went clothes shopping so I think I'm okay. It's in pieces and has a five digit serial with no factory marks. I will start another thread with pics when I get her...

      Three boxes of cosmoline

Bought another safe today! My box of Cosmoline is due Friday but I will miss it so Monday is the day. Anybody have sofa space? I might need it when the wife sees another Sig required from the BBT. :)
