Apparently M60Joe has sold his business and is no longer doing NFA repairs. He did REALLY nice work and was great to deal with. If I ever blew up one of my MG's, M60Joe would have been my first call to get it fixed. That said, I wish him well and hope that he enjoys his retirement.
I was watching the movie Kong Skull Island this evening and noticed a C & R weapon. A pistol with a rather long slide and very distinctive front end. A Colt 1902 Military in 38 ACP. The movie is set in 1973, about 50 years after this weapon was last produced.

Picked up 2 C&R Colts today. A 1903 Pocket Hammer in .38 ACP and a U.S. Property marked 1911A1. The 1903 was made in 1915. I have 3 other 1903's and this will now be my shooter. The 1911A1 was made in 1943. My first C&R 1911. :)
