This from the Schuyler County Sheriff
I have heard from many people over the past few days regarding New York's new gun law. I want to assure every resident of Schuyler County, that neither myself, nor any Deputy Sheriff from the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office will be coming to take your...
The CZ P-01 is the most accurate 9mm I own and is compact enough for me to carry easily. I have moved to G10 grips rather than the stock rubber grips for concealment, but the stock grips feel great on the CZ curvy frame.
The gun has been very reliable with all types of ammo. I have had only...
I love my P-01. I would like to add a full size to the stable either a 75 of an SP-01. I also have a set of Hakan Pek grips on order. Everyone is always impressed with the CZ and it usually gets quite a few questions.
My issue with the PF9 is not the long trigger pull; it is very long though. The real issue is reset. The trigger has a very long reset and you will feel two very distinct clicks. If you try to pull the trigger after what I will call the "false reset" the trigger is locked up. If you are not...
Welcome to the world of concealed carry to all of you Marylanders. I don't have a G26; it just didn't feel right in my hand. I do have a PF9 which carries like a champ. I admittedly don't carry it too often due to capacity. I have never had a reliability issue with it though and am confident...
I am cross dominant (left eye) and grew up shooting right handed. I few years ago I switch to left handed and am glad that I did. I do still shoot pistols right handed.
This did wonders for my trap shooting. My suggestion is to switch shoulders to the strong eye. It is awkward at first. As a...
I have the LaserLyte Cartridge in 9mm. I have used it for dry fire practice for a few months now. It has worked well both for aimed practice while diagnosing trigger control and with reactive aiming practice. I have no issues seeing the illumination in a well lit room. Lighter surfaces are of...
I'll say right off that I am a fan. Is he long winded; yepp. I do wish he would get to the point sometimes. That said I appreciate the thoughtful reviews. Any review is the opinion of the author, and I don't take anyone's opinions for gospel. I don't even mind some of his philosophy monologue...
Rather than list all of the positives, I will just say that the only two downsides I can think of are; they are slightly bulkier and slightly more expensive. Those are hardly major faults.
NY is certainly a target rich environment for SAF.
NY is my home state and it is difficult to not only not be able to carry when I go home to see family, but to not even be allowed to possess a handgun in any manner. There are a lot of laws in NY regarding 2A that can/should be found...
I think that it depends on why you want to shoot IDPA/USPSA. As I understand it USPSA allows a little more gaming than IDPA. My mindset is to improve my skills in deploying the weapon system that I carry in the way that I carry it. By that I mean my normal holster, weapon, and clothing.
If you...
My advice; relax, slow down, and have fun!
I am on the announcement list for AAFG IDPA and can't wait to get out there for an event. I'm excited to put the new CZ P-01 through its paces in a more dynamic environment.
