Penalties
Be cautious of Maryland court prosecutors, with some sleuthing (depending on their mood) could this be elevated to a felony charge and the possibility of a year or more imprisonment - which means loss of your right to possess firearms? Not worth my risking.
I do not own one of these, so I can only try some logical elimination of possible causes. A pistol with a short barrel and small grip will be a bit more flippy than a full size and will react more to small changes.
How close are you to being hit by the other shells (how much change is...
I do not know which brand may produce more consistent accuracy. But even at the widest weight variation, it is only a fraction over 1% difference. Unless you normally can shoot overlapping bullet holes in your targets, that should not make a significant difference. I think that internal case...
So far, just a regular reload run through Lee turret Press, using Lee carbide pistol dies (includes the FCD) and have never had any problem with loading or firing from XDm-40.
W231 / HP-38 esentially same powders for nearly any loading. Use it for 38Spec, 9mm, 357SIG, 40SW and 45acp. Meters really well. I load on a Lee turret press with attached powder measure. I usually use copper electroplated soft lead bullets. When I bought, they were nearly as cheap as...
Del Smigel recorded (whether as a video tape or with cell phone unknown by me) his Q&A before the review board when he was appealing his turn-down for a less restrictive carry permit. (later posted on this forum) But then he is a delegate.
Homak In - the - Wall Gun Safe $120
(sorry, I posted up a few advertised wall safe sites without verifying the site content. When I looked - stuff was mostly overpriced junk -- so I deleted these links)...

I am sure that any LEGAL aspects of the Plaintiff's Reply have been multiply rehashed several times over – after all how much can you really say about a 10 pg brief that had to stay with only rebutting the arguments raised by the Defendants. That said, as I have only read up through post 9390, I...
With any type of filler, probably the most important step of the process is total removal of original finish and absolutely all oily contaminants. After all sanding, scraping, brushing, etc of the area. flush it with a quality solvent. Then no (oily) fingerprints. Do not use an air compressor...
Back to the brief. Was wondering if the reasoning presented by the state was kept intentionally light and insubstantial. Since the 9 May reply from Guru is supposed to address the arguments raised in the state's brief, by presenting essentially nothing, there is no basis for a detailed reply...
Since the cost of the amount of copper necessary to plate 10lb of shot is going to be absolutely neglegable to the manufacturing cost, I'd say you are paying for selective manufacturing and (self) imposed limits by the mfg on 'special processed' ammo to keep prices up - not any actual copper cost.
So just how do we want to be wording the emails and calls? Barking loud is one thing, but we need to be barking in the correct direction. How about some "legal" eyes on our team reviewing the bill again for other hidden in plain sight changes and mis-direction issues.
Do we have any time...
There are probably a number of other issues/legalities for an FFL in Maryland. It may be worth your time to contact NRA. They have a section that specializes in assisting individuals in setting up legal FFL operations. From how to write a business plan and all the legal hoops and forms you...
Right now, the state legialative delegates really only want two things: 1) go home on time. No emergency session extension. and 2) to be able to tell their constituents that they have saved the state from the gun nuts.
It is way too late to start another bill thru the process of law making, but...
No Smigielis not the one pushing for a training requirement. He is trying to steer the requirements to a reasonable conclusion over many much more stringent anti-gun proposals. Heseems to be the only one communicating what is happening and willing to take some direction on language ofd the new...
So how does this mesh with the state preemption of firearms regulations. Is this the beginning of MD's back way out of the issue problem? Are the different counties going to be held to the same set of standards and investigator training? Are we going to see easy/hard counties for permits? It...
I like how well W231 / HP38 run through my press and meters very consistent loads. Has enough bulk that a double charge should be obvious. Use it for 9mm, 38Spec, 357SIG, 40S&W and 45acp. Does good for medium to fairly hot loads. Seems a fairly clean burn and have found no exceptional power...
Maybe something like an alternate juror. That way your application would not get held up if they cannot contact one of your first three references. Or just providing a space to correct an entry without having to fill in another whole form if you really messed-up one of your three references...
Anyone heard any rumblings from the legislative side? Like trying to get some last minute carry restrictive laws enacted to counter a state loss in the courts? Or are the MD legislators even aware of how their legal case is turning?
Sort of OK you can carry a firearm, BUT.... (complex duty to...
