Got out to the range for about an hour with 100 rounds of miscellaneous .357 Magnum and .38 Special. Figured I would try a little of both and see which I liked better in the gun.
Until new grips are gotten, the Python will remain a .38 or a .38 +p revolver. The cosmetically gorgeous Colt...
Well, after years of wanting, I finally got my Python.
New production 2.5 inch Python. It comes with service grips instead of targets. Feels great in the hand and the construction of the revolver is top notch. Figured if I was gonna get a Colt revolver, this one might as well be the one...
Personally, I would not walk around with a long gun regardless of whether the law said I could. As noted, it would invite at the minimum a discussion with the local fuzz. I've not heard of anyone in DE doing it, but in other places it's been done and it's always been more of making a statement...
Colt has also released (quietly) a bead blasted Python that runs about 200 bucks less than the stainless.
I’m okay with the stainless being my only one, but that might change if a blued option is introduced.

This just arrived today. I’d been on a 9mm pistol kick for a while and realized I’d not bought a revolver in a while.

I’ve got the P365 XMACRO Tacops. Bought it Wednesday night, took it out to the range this afternoon. Very pleased with size, capacity, and accuracy. It’s almost like Sig listened to me when I said what I wanted in a 9mm pistol.

Went out last night to browse and came home with another pistol. Sig P365 XMACRO TACOPS 9mm. Not a bad deal, came with 4 17 round mags, night sights, magwell, flat trigger….all in a nice compact package.

Figured since I had an old .38 cop gun, I needed a newfangled cop gun.
Haters are gonna hate, but I bought a police trade in Glock 22. One of the mags still has a cop’s last name on it. Yeah, I Google searched it and believe it or not, there is a Baltimore cop with the same last name. Doubt it...
I’m painfully honest in mine. Some times I’m good. Other times I’m lousy. Most of the time, I just hope for some middle ground.

I’ve been a member of this forum for about fourteen years. Some of you old timers have watched me go from that very first shotgun, to many shotguns, to the occasional rifle and gradually into handguns. You’ve taught me how to reload and appreciate sweet lemonade, etc.
That said, it only took me...
I had to go back and look at the pic. The trigger reach is not actually that short. This is showing the trigger having been pulled. That said, for a 300 dollar pistol, the Stoeger had been nothing but spectacular.

Can’t remember. A couple, I think, but a few of them were from some Chinese girl in the back of a store. She said they were FDA approved, but I didn’t care since they were free.

Second from the left is a Stoeger STR9. One of the many Glock copies now on the market. All the good points of Glock, at about half the price.
C&R would be bad for me. I’m impulsive enough without having guns sent right to the house.
