Firearm seizure related to protective order (Baltimore County)

He is pursuing legal action in the civil court system against her. Just an update, he did get his firearms back last week. I think they ended up having them for almost a month after the protective order was rescinded.

Firearm seizure related to protective order (Baltimore County)

I think this is a gross infringement on our rights, 2 weeks/4 weeks however many weeks, it's completely unnecessary. It takes about 2 minutes to run a check to see if someone can legally own a firearm so you can throw that argument out of the window. It should be a matter of going to the...

Firearm seizure related to protective order (Baltimore County)

Thanks for the replies. He has a pretty good lawyer already from his on going custody battle with his psycho ex, and I think he's going to have him send a letter to the police headquarters tomorrow. And yes I suspect they were just having some fun with his stuff too. His shotgun was a brand...

Firearm seizure related to protective order (Baltimore County)

I am sure this has been discussed here but I could not find anything by searching, so I apologize in advance. The low down is this. My friend called me last week to ask about how to get his guns back after a temporary protective order was rescinded by a Judge in Baltimore County. His crazy ex...

      Still no MSP Head

Good old Marcus Brown... I remember when he got his 20 yr pension at 15 because his best friend O'Malley helped him out. The officers I worked with in the city hated that guy, every last one of them.

Christian Soldier...another one bites the dust...

All thread hijacks aside, I am definitely surprised it took this long for CS to close. I have never seen a business owner as disorganized as Rob. I know plenty of county FF's that have side businesses and are available more than 2 hours a day on random stretches. I never understood how a...

      Freedom Armory--C&R Policy

They've been dicks to me as well. Them and their overpriced AR mags can kiss this Maryland resident's behind.

Overseas Work (Saudi Arabia) Retired Military preffered

Anyone know where you can get some first hand accounts from whoever has done this? I have been recruited before to go over there due to my military qualifications and I chose not to, but I would be more open to it now. I would have to talk to a few people first before I even considered it though.

      C&R Handguns / HQL?

From what I have read here and elsewhere, they are exempt. Still have to fill out a 77R, however.

A-10's won't even be around past next year, I wonder if they even ended up hiring for those positions.

First Time Shooting a Glock 21

I am not a big fan of the standard G21, but my G21SF is my go to home defense pistol. It's the best HD pistol IMO.

any ranges offering free shooting to furlough feds?

There is so much fail in this paragraph :sad20: First off, the myth of the evil federal worker getting paid more is based on a USA Today article a few years back about how most federal workers make more in comparison. Mainstream media sources such as this one are very weak foundations for...

Zimmerman Trial: Tired of media bias? See gun-friendly legal coverage

I don't get why people think if the jury convicts of something then it "automatically" means that they did that out of fear. Maybe they believe he is guilty of something and convicted based on that? Let's just accept the verdict no matter what.
