      Made my first knife

      Found some damascus steel bars so decided to make a knife by hand. Not very traditional and pretty mean and nasty, just the way I like them. Used a drill press, a bench grinder, and a hack saw. It's fairly sharp and fits very nicely, now just need to figure out how to make a sheath.

      Found this cool early American Eagle pommel "five ball" sword at an antique show. Always wanted one of these and finally found one I could afford. Much of the original finish and gilded decorations still on the blade too, pre Civil War, probably dates to the 1830's or earlier I'm guessing

      After about 100 rounds through an HBAR A2, total malfunction.
