Grab a stripped 10/22 receiver off of gunbroker. I got 2 at about $65 each. For the builds I had planned I was going to throw away an entire rife for the receiver anyway. Might as well save myself ~$120 on buying a new rifle to throw away the majority of it.
So what do you do if you lost the original notarized copy of trust paperwork? I still have the electronic document, so I can print another copy but it won't be "original."
My wife and I have been working on new wills. In the will my kids are named as beneficiaries of the estate of we should both die. I'm trying to see about the legal ramifications of firearms transfers if they are underage at the time of our death. I don't want the firearms to become an issue to...
Swapped one of the auto bolt releases into a brand spanking new 10/22 I just pulled out of the box and it holds the bolt just fine. That tells me it's an issue with the bolt on the takedown.
I really like the teeth cut into the aftermarket ones. I guess I could try and cut teeth into my factory piece and try and mod it to auto release from there.
I have a 10/22 takedown that I am having issues with. I wasn't happy with the way the one I bought off Amazon was holding the bolt back. It was a very light hold back. The slightest bump and the bolt would release.
I recently picked up a different auto release from Tactical Innovations to...
The people that make the CR Speed Belts are coming out with a line of IDPA belts. Very nice from what I saw at their booth at SHOT. The company is based in South Africa and they do have their own website.
Just wait. I was at their booth at SHOT. They have a TD bull barrel with Hogue stock coming out shortly. They rushed the stocks from Hogue to get them to the show. I already have my name on the list for one.
It'll fit. Figure the barrel is 16" plus 5" for receiver. The back of the receiver to the back of the buttstock will be more than 9".
Granted that's just an estimate but it makes sense.
