If this was used with the carbine barrel and shoulder stock only, would it be considered a rifle and legal in Md without a tax stamp?

This might be a stupid question, but I keep seeing pre-ban hi-cap mags for sale on gunbroker. Are pre-ban hi-cap mags legal to buy and sell in Md or is 20 rounds the limit no matter how old the mags are? Just wondering why they would even advertise that they were pre-ban unless there was some...
I just stumbled upon a neat little 9mm carbine while searching the web.
I did a search here and it looks like it hasn't been mentioned before,
so I am just bringing it to your attention.
Its all CNC milled from billet aluminum and steel.
Seems like a good alternative to an AR 9mm...
I have a Ruger LCP and its a decent little pistol, but I don't really care for the long trigger pull it has. So I was looking at alternatives and found the S&W Bodyguard semi-auto .380. Looks to be the same size as a LCP but a little heavier due to the built in laser. Has anyone here had a...
Went up to Hap Baker and tried to shoot my PLR-16 but they said no guns on the rifle range without a buttstock and no rifle caliber weapons on the pistol range. Where can I shoot this beast?
Now before I get the "you get what you pay for" speech, this is a concept that I already understand very well. But you can't always get what you want, and sometimes you have to make do with what you can afford until the finances allow a wider range of choices. Eventually I will get some nice...
I tried searching but didn't find what I was looking for.
I am looking for the best online guide or video that shows you how to do the trigger and pistol grip conversion on a Saiga 12. I got all my parts from Carolina Shooters Supply today and I want to do the conversion tonight.
For those of you who haven't seen it: (its not mine)
Well, how about a Mossberg 1000 double barrel Sidewinder pump?
hahahaha....... no, they aren't connected, but it could be done..... I just don't know why ya would.
I just finished installing my second Knoxx Sidewinder kit on a...
I've got a mechtech Glock 17 carbine conversion kit that I want to install on a Glock 17 frame.
Will this firearm now be considered to be a rifle?
Can it be carried as a trunk gun?
Can I attach a vertical foregrip to it?
I don't even have a slide for this frame, but if I did, could it be...
If I was to buy a Glock 17 frame without the slide, is the frame considered the transferable part of the gun? Will I have to do all the same paperwork as if it was a complete pistol?
I just picked up a Knoxx Sidewinder kit off gunbroker but there are no instructions with the kit.
It looks straightforward enough, but if there is any documentation available,
I'd like to see it before I begin the conversion. Anybody?
